Happy Feet

We love shoes.  No matter how tall you are, high heals, in my opinion, just make you look better.  They inspire you to stand with better posture (even if it is because you are trying to keep from falling over), they make your feet look pretty and certainly make you taller!

I always feel fabulous heading out in high heals, but lets face it, by the end (ok the middle) of the night your toes are squashed, the ball of your foot is aching, and you’re probably sporting a few bandaids.

For kids, the trend continues to be the party sock.  Girls take about 2 seconds before removing their shoes and throwing on these slippery sensations.  And thank goodness someone out there had the decency to include grownups in this phenomenon by bringing flip flops on the scene. Almost all of my brides do some sort of a shoe change…including everything from Aerosole Slippers to Tom’s Shoes but I think I’ve found something a little better!
Lets just say there was a vending machine of ballet flats. You were desperate. They were $19.95. I know what I would do. How about you?   Rollasole are trendy ballet flats that are rolled up into a teeny tiny ball and sold out of a vending machine.
These little gems are affordable, stylish, trendy, come in an assortment of colors and they also come with their own little carrying bag when you are ready to ditch your heals. The vending machines haven’t made it our way yet, but Rollasole sells a Wedding Box with 24 pairs of shoes for $229. Each box includes 6 small, 12 medium and 6 large pairs of Rollasoles.  And they aren’t disposable either! You can wear them over and over.  Even stars like Heidi Klum and Hayden Panettiere have been seen wearing them.
If we see the photo booths that were plopped in the middle of the mall at weddings, who’s to say we won’t be seeing these fabulous little shoe machines at weddings one day as well?
